Casts From the Past IV

Casts From the Past is a recurring retrospective of Palladio GFRG projects.

Five scallop-shaped plaster casts sit end-to-end on a work table.

One of the most impressive architectural features ever imis the dome. This simple yet elegant pattern is the first stage in creating a scalloped dome that spans 20 feet.

With the scalloped dome’s pattern moulded, we can create and place casts on a bed that possesses the correct height, projection, and radius.

A custom bay leaf pattern being installed in its Brooklyn, NY home, framing a spectacular concave recess.

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you!  This cornice features deliberately skewed ornaments, to be installed as part of a cathedral's “baldacchino” – the altar’s canopy.
